European Feminist Initiative Statement and Conclusions from the Euro-Med Workshop "“Equality First: Women’s Rights and Democracy Building” held in Beirut on 7th- 8th December

Please  find attached a  common New Year Message in the Conclusions and Statement from the Euro-Med workshop: “Equality First: Women’s Rights and Democracy Building” held in Beirut on 7th- 8th December. It gathered 55 representatives from women’s rights networks, coalitions and organisations from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Spain, Jordan, Algeria, France, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Sweden to share perspectives and expertise on Istanbul Framework of Action and the international conventions and resolutions in order to contribute to the raising of the awareness and increasing of the capacity of women’s NGOs to advocate for their implementation by the governments.
