Aim for Human Rights
Health Rights of Women Assessment Instrument
2008
http://www.aimforhumanrights.org/fileadmin/user_upload/pdf/HeRWAI_English.pdf
"Aim for human rights stands up for the right to health for women. We
developed a practical manual: the Health Rights of Women Assessment Instrument (HeRWAI). HeRWAI assists organisations to analyse what really happens with policies that influence women's health rights. In this way they get powerful arguments to lobby for concrete actions which improve the situation of women. HeRWAI is based on CEDAW (United Nations Convention for the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women) and ICESCR (International Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights)."

A Question of Security: Violence against Palestinian Women and Girls
November 2006
http://www.hrw.org/en/reports/2006/11/06/question-security
"This 101-page report, based on field research conducted in the West Bank and Gaza in November 2005 and early 2006, documents dozens of cases of violence ranging from spousal and child abuse to rape, incest and murders committed under the guise of family “honor.” There is increasing recognition of the problem, and some PA officials have indicated their support for a more vigorous government response, but the PA has taken little action to prevent these abuses. As a result, violence against women and girls is often unreported, and even when it is, it usually goes unpunished.
A significant number of women and girls in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) are victims of violence perpetrated by family members and intimate partners. While there is increasing recognition of the problem and some Palestinian Authority (PA) officials have indicated their support for a more forceful response, little action has been taken to seriously address these abuses. Indeed, there is some evidence the level of violence is getting worse while the remedies available to victims are being further eroded."
