The 8th EMHRN General Assembly took place in Barcelona

80 human rights defenders from North and South of the Mediterranean gathered at the 8th General Assembly of the EMHRN in Barcelona, 11-15 December 2008

The General Assembly elected a new executive committee for the next three years period.
In follow-up to the GA, the Council of Representatives of the Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Support of Human Rights Defenders held its second meeting.
